TRAVEL PACKAGES

FESTIVAL TICKETS

DAY TICKETS
Always possible at the door of the venues where the festival is held on that specific day.

PAYMENT METHODS
Official currency is € (euro). Easiest way to obtain cash is via ATMs (available on the whole island, especially in Novalja), but the cheapest way to exchange is at a bank in the cities!

You can pay by card: in the venues (bank/credit/debit card but also cash), in larger shops (supermarkets, drugstores/pharmacies, souvenir shops), hotels, most restaurants in Novalja, highway tolls, entrance tickets to national parks and public transport (bus, train, ferry tickets)

Smaller towns on the island are less likely to accept cards, therefore it is always good to have some cash at hand. Also good to keep in mind that in many cases tickets for transport (like ferry) can be bought online before travel.

LOCATION
Be sure to check out all the venues: Kalypso, Noa, Nomad and Aquarius are all located on the seaside. Zrce Beach is a beautiful 1km-long shore with a pebble beach and a great view of the mainland mountains.

ENVIRONMENT
Do not throw waste or cigarettes on the ground. Same goes for inflammable objects, such as lighters, spray cans and certain types of cosmetics as due to the unique nature of the environment on Pag, wildfires spread extremely fast. Do not throw waste in the sea, and on the ground in nature areas.

BEACH
The Adriatic sea is home to sea urchins. Stepping on them means their spikes will go directly through your foot, so make sure to look around when stepping into the water. Sometimes also broken glass can be found amongst the pebbles of the beach. Wear footwear when walking around and be careful at night. If you happen to step on one, seek help immediately!

FOOD & DRINKS
It’s not allowed to take your own food or drink into the festival venue, but you can get all you need inside. Some clubs sell cigarettes but you can always get them in shops on the beach.

SANITARY
All of the venues offer separate toilets. Premium ticket holders will additionally have access to separate, less crowded toilets (pool parties don’t have dedicated Premium areas).

SHOPS
At popular areas (Novalja, Gajac, Stara Novalja), you can find local shops at almost any corner, but if you are searching for a supermarket, you can visit Hiper Novalis (Monday – Sunday 7:00 – 21:00 near the main Bus station in Novalja), Konzum (Monday – Sunday 7:00 – 21:00 at Sajužnja ulica – edge of Novalja) or Plodine (Monday – Sunday 7:00 – 22:00 near the Novalja Center roundabout).

RESTAURANTS/BARS
All accommodation areas like Novalja, Gajac or Stara Novalja, as well as Zrce Beach offer numerous places to grab a drink, get a quick bite or try local specialities.

FIRST AID
Emergency number in Croatia is 112. In the case of an emergency, try to find the Verknipt staff member. First Aid is available upon calling and they will assist you in the shortest possible time. The nearest ambulance is located a few minutes away from the club.

HOSPITAL
Hospitals are located in larger cities like Zadar, Split and Zagreb while ambulance, first aid and pharmacies are located in Novalja. Foreign visitors with valid health insurance of countries with which Croatia has signed a Social Security Agreement do not pay for emergency medical care during a private stay in the Republic of Croatia if they have a contract providing confirmation of their right to health care. Health care (including transport) is used for emergency cases in the manner and according to the regulations valid for Croatian citizens covered by social security, with identical participation in health care costs. Persons coming from countries with no health care contract or agreement bear all the costs themselves, so it is advisable to opt for travel insurance with a private insurance company.

POLICE
Please beware that police are strict in Croatia! There is no tolerance for public disturbances, especially destructive or violent behaviour, as well as possession of illegal substances. The station in the center of Novalja (Braće Radića 9) is open 24/7 and can also be reached on phone via +385 53 675 860. For more info visit their website.
